Health & Safety

dawnflight is here to help you build a better morning routine. Please use it safely.

Not medical advice

dawnflight isn't a medical device and doesn't give medical advice. If you have trouble sleeping or waking, or a health condition, talk to a doctor. Don't give up sleep to keep a streak going.

Waking up and walking

The wake-up challenge asks you to walk a few steps right after you wake up. Turn on a light, watch your step (especially on stairs) and take a moment if you feel dizzy or groggy. If walking isn't safe for you, turn off the walking step in Settings → Alarm and the alarm goes straight to the math challenge.

Alarms

Alarms depend on your phone, iOS version, volume and Focus settings, and battery. Test your alarm, keep your phone charged, and don't rely on dawnflight as your only alarm for anything critical, like a flight, a shift or medication.

Exercise and flock events

Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise routine. Flock events are organized by users, not dawnflight. Meet in public places, let someone know your plans, and trust your instincts. Running in the dark? Wear reflective gear and watch for traffic.

On the road

Don't use dawnflight while driving.
